At its Oct. 10 public launch of the Rockforward! campaign, Rockford Area EDC Chairman David Schertz (CEO of OSF St. Anthony’s Medical Center) proudly announced more than 60% of the total campaign goal has already been raised!

With a goal of $7.5 Million for the 5-yr program, business and civic leaders have already pledged in excess of $4.5 Million to the Rockford Area EDC. President and CEO Janyce Fadden, RAEDC’s highly respected leader of three years, acknowledged the outstanding strategic consulting and campaign performance delivered by R & M Resource Development as she thanked the gathering of more than 250 community leaders. The RAEDC’s 5-yr program is expected to result in more than 10,000 new jobs and $1.8 Billion in new wealth for the region. RAEDC serves all of Winnebago County (pop. 350,000) in north central Illinois, 60 miles west of metropolitan Chicago.
